About Daniel Lieberman
It’s never been easier to start a business, reinvent a career, or invigorate a municipality. People just need to be shown how to start using the tools. Daniel Lieberman Digital helps clients get to know digital technology and use it effectively and efficiently.
The Internet and Social Media revolutionize everything in civil society, business and government. Many-to-many, networked communication and sharing are the nature of the Internet. Nothing else can really work in any future worth contemplating. Sharing is the ‘secret sauce’ of civilization, the warp to competition’s woof. The web makes it easy and profitable to be mutual (and competitive!), so the networked world we live in can be a richer, fairer and smarter world.
Daniel worked in a successful wholesale distribution business as a partner, software developer and IT manager through the microcomputer revolution and the dot-com boom. After a stint as a business analyst and project manager in the area of document management and workflow systems, he’s become interested in helping with the transition to the modern Internet and Social Media. Consulting, blogging, and speaking are both work and pleasure for Daniel.
Daniel is a generalist. He’s been called a polymath (complimentary) and a dilettante (not) because he tends to find everything interesting and knows how to find things out. Clients and audiences find his perspective different and stimulating.

About Let’s Get Digital
Let’s Get Digital is homebase for the intelligent non-geek who wants to be a better, more productive user of the digital technology. Nobody is born knowing all this stuff. It’s simple to use, by and large, but there can be a significant learning curve. Also, most people (geeks don’t count!) have the perfectly reasonable attitude that they don’t have all the time in the world to research, compare, choose and learn to use computer software. They’d like to get around to solving a problem, expanding their possibilities, or just having fun.
That’s where LGD comes in. I do the research for my readers like I do for my clients. They are artists, writers, business executives, real estate professionals, translators, municipal employees, retail merchants, students….
I’m endlessly fascinated with the newest offerings on the Web and in Social Media. This is what I do all day – this is my work – this is my idea of fun. You’ll find pointers to useful, often free, very powerful technology that solves problems and builds new capabilities for your enterprise, no matter what it is and what size it is. The Internet is a great equalizer. It gives businesses of any size access to tools that have only been available to organizations with very deep pockets and lots of in-house technical expertise.
Let’s Get Digital is a coach and guide for everyone who wants to use technology better. From simple things that people simply haven’t thought about (like using a modern web browser like Firefox or Chrome instead of Microsoft’s aging and non-standard Internet Explorer) all the way up to why and how to have a website, how to get traffic on it, and how to think about Social Media for your enterprises’s purposes, LGD will be your guide and companion in exploring the tremendous power and promise of the modern Internet.
